You are now the proud owner of a fragrant lavender!

You can enjoy your plant indoors for a few days but we would recommend planting it in the garden or a pot outside as soon as possible.  

With a little care, it will reward you with gorgeous blooms year after year.

Lavender Care Guide

Enjoy your fragrant lavender! Easy to care for and loved by bees and butterflies, lavender will fill your garden with beautiful blooms and a wonderful scent.

🌿 Light
Lavender thrives in full sun. Choose a bright, sunny spot where it can enjoy at least 6–8 hours of sunlight each day.

💧 Water
Water regularly while the plant is becoming established. Once settled, lavender is drought-tolerant and only needs watering during prolonged dry spells. Avoid overwatering, as it prefers drier conditions.

🌱 Soil
Lavender grows best in well-drained soil. If planted in a pot, ensure there are drainage holes to prevent water from collecting around the roots.

🌸 After Flowering
Trim off faded flower stems and lightly shape the plant after flowering to keep it neat and encourage healthy new growth. Avoid cutting into old, woody stems.

🪴 If It's in a Pot
Use a free-draining compost and place the pot in a sunny location. Water only when the compost has dried out, and never leave the pot standing in water.

❄️ Winter Care
Lavender is hardy, but good drainage is essential during winter. Plants in containers may benefit from a little shelter during prolonged periods of wet or freezing weather.

With plenty of sunshine and just a little care, your lavender will reward you with fragrant flowers, silvery-green foliage, and a haven for pollinators year after year.  Enjoy!
